About the Role As Sales and Operations Intern, you will be responsible for helping to keep the daily operations up and running. This involves a mixture of tasks such as admin, customer service and speaking to suppliers. Our Sales team is responsible for growing both existing customers and new business opportunities by taking customers through the sales cycle, onboarding contacts and agreeing on new services. Department Overview: Sales and Operations is the engine room of EatFirst and our success is largely on our teams who have unparalleled knowledge of the market and the customer, as they focus on building strong ‘win-win’ partnerships with EatFirst customers. In addition to the above, you'll also be responsible for: ● Work with our individual country KAMs and sales associates ● Identify new business account opportunities across our core markets ● Actively develop, contact leads, and qualify new and existing business prospects ● Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service, thereby creating referral opportunities ● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and results for our customers Skills and Qualifications: ● Highly organised, energetic and outcomes-driven outlook ● Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint) and Google Workspace equivalents ● Ability to work effectively with a high impact team environment ● A natural drive for selling and relationship management - your customers love you! ● Food industry knowledge desired ● Located in the Netherlands (relocation for this internship is not relevant) ● Fluent in English and Dutch Benefits of working with us: This is a great opportunity to join a fun, forward-thinking team with a proven track record of success.
